Timothy D. Owczarzak, DMD, is a highly accomplished general dentist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with more than three decades of experience providing exceptional dental care. Known as "Dr. O" by his patients and team, he has built a reputation for delivering compassionate, personalized care while making every patient feel comfortable and at ease. He possesses comprehensive expertise across all areas of dentistry, including exodontia, implant placement and restoration, Invisalign®, dentures, full-mouth reconstruction, crown and bridge, cosmetic dentistry, and emergency dental care. Dr. Owczarzak is deeply committed to staying at the forefront of dental innovation, integrating cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance patient outcomes and deliver the highest standard of care. Dr. Owczarzak began his career serving as a General Dentist in the U.S. Army, where he completed a rigorous General Practice Residency and received specialized training in forensic science at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. Assigned to the 257th Combat Dental Detachment with the 82nd Airborne Division, he provided comprehensive dental care to thousands of soldiers while helping develop operational protocols, including emergency triage and hazard management plans. His exemplary military service earned him numerous honors, including the National Defense Medal, and instilled in him a lifelong commitment to precision, leadership, and compassionate patient care.
Dr. Owczarzak is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA). He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), a distinction recognizing his advanced education, experience, and commitment to excellence in implant dentistry.
